A young woman, Ruth, reunites with her former lover, Michel, at her beachside villa, only to discover she's also fallen for her new partner, Paul. As they spend a idyllic summer together, a series of bizarre and terrifying events unfold, including a near-fatal car accident and a close call with faulty diving equipment.
