In the final stages of the Vietnam War, the US military faces a severe shortage of drivers for supply transportation. In response, they hastily assemble a new group of recruits and rush them through a brief training period with an American officer. However, the recruits are then hastily transferred to South Vietnamese command and dispatched into the war-torn jungle without adequate protection.
