Len Carmody, a struggling vaudeville performer, finds an unlikely partner in Kelly, a talented dog abandoned by a dog act. When Kelly joins Len's act, they become a hit comedy duo. However, Len's newfound success is threatened when he meets Mina Van Runkel, the daughter of a movie producer, who offers him a chance to star in a film.
