In this whimsical film, a mistaken advertising poster featuring Placide Smellekens, suspended from a lamp post, sparks a fashion trend as people desire to wear his clothes instead of fur coats. Germaine sees an opportunity and turns Placide into a mannequin, where he meets Sarah and earns the nickname Koko Flanel. As Placide pursues Sarah, he's driven by his deceased father's haunting words, urging him to find a girl soon.
