Liberté background

Liberté

A group of outcasts, including Madame de Dumeval, the Duke de Tesis, and the Duke de Wand, who were exiled from the court of Louis XVI, seek guidance from the enigmatic Duc de Walchen, a German philosopher and charismatic seducer, in a world where morality is compromised and deceit reigns.

In 1774, just before the French Revolution, a group of libertines, including Madame de Dumeval, the Duke of Tesis, and the Duke of Wand, were exiled from the Puritan court of Louis XVI. They sought the help of the legendary Duke of Walchen, a German free thinker and seducer, in a country where hypocrisy and false virtue dominated. Their goal was to spread their philosophy of enlightenment, which rejected morality and authority, and find a safe haven to continue their hedonistic pursuits.
