Four young filmmakers embark on a new surfing documentary project, funded by international producers, and venture into the Australian outback. After a detour to a one-horse town called "Nowhere Else", they stay overnight at a roadhouse owned by an estranged man, but soon experience an emotional and frightening night. Their vehicle is immobilized by a flying object, leaving them stranded in the desert. They take shelter in an old abandoned church, marking the beginning of a mysterious and terrifying night of survival.
