Lloyd, an 11-year-old class clown, gets into trouble with his teachers and is banished to a class for underachievers. There, he meets three other misfits and falls in love with Tracey, the new student. Despite being outshone by the popular Storm, Lloyd learns to build his confidence and self-esteem with the help of his family and a mysterious magician, ultimately winning Tracey's heart.
