Phillip Bennett, engaged to be married, is killed in a car accident, but his fiancée Louise begs Dr. Clarke to bring him back to life. Dr. Clarke succeeds, but Phillip's soul is replaced by that of Panino, a ruthless criminal, who assumes Phillip's identity and takes over his life. As Phillip/Panino, he becomes the leader of Panino's gang, engaging in a crime spree and gang wars that terrorize the city.
