In a Russian laboratory, Dr. Karl Zimmer has created the Mandroid, a robot that mimics human movements. The USA is interested in the invention, and two CIA agents, Smith and Wade, are sent to inspect it. However, Drago, Zimmer's partner, has other plans, wanting to sell the Mandroid to the military. When Drago tries to steal the Mandroid, he is exposed to a toxic substance called Supercon, which severely disfigures him. Despite his new appearance, Drago refuses to give up on his goal to possess the Mandroid.
