Dr. Aranya conducts experiments in remote labs, transplanting pituitary glands between spiders and humans to create hybrid superwomen and spiders. He invites Dr. Masterton, who is horrified and becomes the next test subject. After releasing Masterton, who is institutionalized, Dr. Aranya captures more outsiders who crash on the mesa, including a financier and his fiancée. Masterton plots to stop the experiments by sending the pilot and the fiancée to escape, who are eventually rescued by an oil surveyor.
