Lonely, aging widower Willy Krueger spends Christmas Eve alone, but his imagination and music bring him joy. He envisions himself as a well-dressed gentleman, conducts the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in his dreams, and even finds himself in the manger scene of the Nativity. Through his experiences, Willy rediscovers the true meaning of Christmas and finds solace in his relationship with Jesus.
