Siddarama, a clever and resourceful young man from a slum, lives with his mother who works in an incense stick factory. After getting into trouble with the police, Siddarama's mother turns to a corrupt businessman, Gooli Prathapa, for help. Gooli, who has a hidden agenda, becomes obsessed with Siddarama's mother. Meanwhile, Siddarama becomes a fan of Puneeth Rajkumar and gets a chance to interact with him. As the story unfolds, Siddarama is wrongly accused of murdering a scientist's son and is framed by Gooli's gang. With the help of Puneeth and a former juvenile prison inmate, Siddarama clears his name and ultimately adopts by the scientist, Mahadev Ghodke.
