Johnny Mack Brown, posing as a bandit, infiltrates a gang of stagecoach and bank robbers to uncover their identities, with the help of his friend Clancy, a stage driver. The gang is led by Ma Posey, a widowed ranch owner, and includes Blackie Marshall, Deuce Logan, Tad, and a bank examiner, Fleming, who provides the gang with valuable information on money movements.
