In this movie, a dancer named Xiaodie creates a successful dance called "butterfly" for her former lover, who has since moved on. She is invited to Budapest to choreograph for a foreign cultural fund, but things take a dark turn when the lead dancer, Lu Bai, reveals she is searching for her missing sister at a mysterious butterfly cemetery. As Xiaodie uncovers more secrets, she discovers that the fund's new leader is actually her former lover, and that several dancers, including her own sister, have gone missing.
