Lakshmi, a wealthy and influential woman, lives a luxurious lifestyle with her family in Bombay. She's the Chair of the Women's Syndicate and an aspiring politician. Her family consists of her husband, Mohanlal, a pampered daughter, Shanti, and an unemployed son, Deepak.
