Plane Crazy background

Plane Crazy

Mickey Mouse constructs a plane inspired by Charles Lindbergh's historic flight, hoping to whisk Minnie away on a romantic escapade, but Minnie is hesitant about the true motives behind the adventure.

Mickey and his friends construct an innovative wooden airplane, using a dachshund as a makeshift rubber band. Despite initial setbacks, they revisit their design, this time transforming Mickey's car into a makeshift aircraft. Accompanied by Minnie, the plane finally takes to the skies, with Mickey struggling to regain his seat after being thrown out. However, his romantic advances towards Minnie are rebuffed, and she uses her bloomers as a parachute to escape the plane, which subsequently crashes.
