The Allied prisoners on a Japanese ship are in a state of panic when they discover the vessel is a decoy for American submarines and not properly blacked out at night. In response, the prisoners join forces to take control of the ship, attacking the Japanese sailors and officers just as an American submarine surfaces, unaware of the prisoners' presence and prepares to torpedo the unsuspecting ship.
