In the aftermath of an Islamic State attack on their Yezidi village in Iraqi Kurdistan, a young couple is torn apart. When the man, Reko, returns to find his village destroyed and his fiancée, Pero, missing, he sets out to rescue her, only to discover she is being held captive in a Syrian slave market. Despite reuniting with Pero, the couple faces a new challenge as they try to overcome the trauma she has endured.
