Legendary director George Stevens brings Hollywood stars Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson to west Texas to film Edna Ferber's novel, GIANT. They're joined by newcomer James Dean and live in Marfa, Texas during the summer of 1955. Unlike most location shoots, they mingle with the townspeople, casting locals as extras, creating a unique blend of Hollywood and small-town Texas.
