In a scheme to gain control of a wealthy gold claim, a group of crooks hire a man to kidnap the claim's owner's girlfriend, demanding half of the mine in exchange for her safe return. However, the girlfriend is rescued by two friends of the claim's owner, who then pursue the kidnappers to stop them from getting away with their plan.
