Malcolm McDowell stars as Harry Flashman, a British Army officer who unwittingly finds himself at the center of a sinister plot by Otto Von Bismarck to manipulate German duchies. While pursuing a romantic affair with courtesan Lola Montez, Harry is recruited to impersonate a Prussian Prince, but soon discovers that Bismarck has ulterior motives.
