Rudolf, a curious black cat from Gifu, Japan, embarks on a journey with his owner Rie to visit her grandmother. After a series of mishaps, Rudolf finds himself lost and unconscious in a truck trailer. He awakens in Tokyo, where he meets Gottalot, a notorious feline boss, and other animals, including Buchi and Misha. As Rudolf navigates his new surroundings, he discovers a secret that could help him reunite with Rie. Along the way, he uncovers Gottalot's mysterious past and his connection to the menacing dog, Devil.
