In the woods, a 13-year-old boy is kidnapped by a convict and instructed to deliver money later that day. The boy reluctantly complies, only to be ambushed by the convict's accomplice. A brutal murder unfolds, and by chance, the killer and the boy's mother form an uneasy alliance.
