A dancer with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra is tasked with secretly transporting a magnetic mine prototype to Puerto Rico, unaware of the true purpose. As she navigates the mission, she falls for a writer who is also on board, but her trust is shattered when she overhears him discussing a character that seems to be based on her. The situation becomes even more complicated when the bags are switched, and the writer inadvertently obtains the magnetic mine.
