Six Lessons from Madame La Zonga

A charismatic nightclub owner's bold personality causes chaos on a voyage to Cuba, testing the patience of those accompanying him.

In this musical comedy, a group of Oklahoma musicians travel to Broadway, only to find that rhumba music is all the rage. They decide to sail to Havana to learn the rhythm and accent, where Steve meets Rosita Alvarez, who is on her way to Cuba with her father, a con artist. When they arrive, they discover that the nightclub owner, Madame La Zonga, has gone bankrupt. A new con artist, Beheegan, offers a solution by using his ill-gotten gains to buy mythical plantations in South America from Pop Alvarez.
