A rugged cowboy forms an unshakeable bond with a stunning wild stallion, training and caring for it until his brother's financial desperation forces the horse to be traded. As the horse senses danger, it breaks free and accidentally kills its former owner, leaving the cowboy heartbroken and separated from his beloved animal. The horse is later sold to perform in rodeos, and the cowboy embarks on a journey to reunite with his former companion.
