Three rebellious teenagers, Johnnie, Bill, and Bert, are given a chance at redemption when they discover a chance to work with a charismatic choirmaster.

In 1960s Bristol, three friends, motorbike licence-less and restless, find a new outlet for their energy in playing rock-and-roll at a church hall. With the support of a kind churchwarden, they recruit new members and even attract the attention of the churchwarden's daughter. However, one of the friends begins to feel uneasy about being pulled into a more conventional lifestyle, which threatens to change their carefree identity.
