Richard, a disillusioned spy, seeks to leave his life behind after his wife Angela leaves him due to his profession. Following a failed mission, he fakes his own death with the help of his boss Tony and a plastic surgeon. However, when the doctor and Tony are murdered, Richard becomes convinced that someone is targeting him or trying to lure him out of hiding. His greatest fear is that Angela could be the next victim, leading him to seek her out, only to discover that she has moved on with her life and no longer wants him back.
