In the Arizona desert, two brothers, Mike and Tim McCall, own a large ranch, controlling the water supply by damming a nearby river. When settlers arrive, they're met with dry land, and tensions rise as the McCall brothers refuse to share the water. Among the settlers is John Dawson and his daughter Connie, who sparks a rivalry between the two brothers. When Tim discovers a plot to dynamite the dam, he's killed in the ensuing gunfight. The settlers' cattle are then stampeded and the dam is blown up, leaving the McCall brothers to fight for survival and justice.
