Swing!

A driven producer, Ted Gregory, seeks to make history by becoming the first African American to produce a Broadway show, but his lead singer's challenges threaten to derail his goal.

Mandy Jenkins discovers her husband's infidelity with Eloise Jackson in a Birmingham cabaret. Eloise is later cast in a musical in Harlem, produced by Ted Gregory, who hopes to be the first black producer on Broadway. Mandy joins the production as wardrobe mistress, but tensions arise due to Eloise's erratic behavior and the struggles to secure funding.
