A string of murders takes place in New York, with the killer targeting men by handcuffing them before killing them. A TV host and a detective team up to solve the case, aided by a clairvoyant artist who has visions of the murders before they occur. As they investigate, they uncover a connection between the victims and the first female victim, who may have had a sexual relationship with all of the male victims.
