Cowboy star Spencer Yorke leaves Hollywood to buy a ranch in Arizona, accompanied by his friend Buckshot. They settle in the quiet town of Taylorsville, where Sheriff Clem Baker and his daughter Mary, a real estate agent, struggle to find excitement. Meanwhile, three gangsters from the city hide out in a deserted saloon, planning to ambush the Sheriff and Spencer, whom they believe is a G-man.
