A team of explorers, led by Jonathan Marchant, ventures into the Congo to search for evidence of a dinosaur, accompanied by a doctor, TV crew, and local guide. Unbeknownst to them, Jonathan's son has secretly joined the expedition. As they journey deeper into the jungle, their helicopter is ambushed by flying creatures, leading to a crash that sets the stage for their final and perilous adventure.
