Jay Mallory, a contract hitman, returns home to find his wife Celandine missing. Initially, he believes she left on her own, but soon suspects her disappearance is linked to his last job. As he takes on another assignment in England, he's given limited information, including the target's identity, which may be connected to Celandine's disappearance. Despite feeling set up, Mallory decides to take the job, hoping it will lead him back to his wife.
