In medieval Europe, a group of condemned prisoners receive a surprising reprieve when they're pardoned to join the grand festivities surrounding the royal wedding of Princess Gilda to a wealthy prince.

A group of prisoners are freed in celebration of the upcoming royal wedding. An uncle-nephew con artist duo, posing as tailors, take advantage of the emperor's love for new clothing and create invisible garments for the wedding. They plan to steal materials and jewels, but things get complicated as the princess falls for the nephew, the emperor is suspicious, and the nephew struggles with his con artist identity.
