The Fighting Renegade

A former government agent, accused of murder, assumes the persona of the infamous Mexican vigilante, "The Puma", to clear his name and track down the real culprits.

A Mexican desert guide, El Puma, leads an archaeological expedition through the Indian badlands, accompanied by Professor Lucious Lloyd's niece, Marian, who can translate Aztec writings. When the professor is murdered, El Puma's knife is found at the scene, and suspicion falls on him, revealed to be "Lightnin' Bill' Carson, a former federal agent. Carson must clear his name and prove his innocence.
