The Front

A charismatic cashier's life takes a dark turn when he begins selling blacklisted artists' work under his own name, only to uncover a tangled web of corruption in the art world, forcing him to confront its harsh realities.

Howard Prince, a restaurant worker, helps a blacklisted writer by selling scripts under his own name, initially to pay off gambling debts. As he takes on more clients, he becomes entangled in the complex world of Hollywood politics, eventually finding himself questioning the true nature of the industry through his relationships with Florence and a former TV star.
