In a world divided into two lands, a mysterious girl named Shiva is found on a pile of abandoned corpses by a being from the outer land, feared by humans. Despite being from different worlds, Shiva shows affection to her rescuer, calling him "Teacher", and their unlikely bond forms in the twilight zone between day and night.
