A man posing as Zachary Oberzan, a famous American film/theater maker, convinces the staff at deSingel Internationale Kunstcampus to create a new work with them as actors and their theater as the location. After a week of rehearsals, the staff grows suspicious and the imposter is arrested for fraud. Renowned filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami becomes intrigued and documents the trial and the events leading up to it.
