The Happiness of the Katakuris

In the countryside, the Katakuri family operates a family-run inn where they work together. However, their peaceful atmosphere is disrupted by a series of mysterious and tragic events. After a guest takes his own life, the family buries him by the lake. Two subsequent guests meet a fatal end while engaging in intimate activities, and they are also laid to rest. The family then encounters con artist Richard Sagawa, whom they dispose of. Meanwhile, the local police arrive at the inn in search of a man suspected of murdering his wife.
