A young, successful couple, Gwen and Steven, buy a vacant Victorian house in a small town to rebuild their marriage and restore the old home. The house has a dark history as a World War I hospice, where soldiers were mistreated and found hell on earth. The couple plans to turn it into a B&B, but the house and its former occupants have other plans.
