Fred Flintstone and George Jetson, both overworked and family-bound, learn more about each other when George's son Elroy builds a time machine. The family decides to test it, but Astro's mishandling sends them back to Prehistoric Days in Bedrock, where they meet the Flintstones. Fred and Wilma think the Jetsons are extraterrestrial beings, and George is introduced as Fred's cousin.
