Society lady Hattie Leonard organizes her own gang of vigilantes after discovering she was charged extra for "protection" on a garment she sent to the dry-cleaners. She enlists the help of a reformed gangster, Frankie O'Fallon, and together they take down the racketeers, recover stolen money, and expose the mayor as the mastermind behind the protection racket.
