In the Arizona Territory in 1875, rancher John Rutherford plans to forcibly evict all squatters from his lands. He hires a group of mercenaries, led by Hook, and brings along his son Roy and bookkeeper Mr. Avery. However, one remaining squatter, Corey Everett, refuses to leave his reinforced fortress in a boxed canyon.
