An ancient genie is unleashed when thieves disturb an old woman's lamp, leading to chaos and terror as it claims the lives of its initial attackers. The lamp is later relocated to a museum, where the curator's daughter becomes possessed by the malevolent spirit. She invites friends to a fateful night at the museum, which also attracts some unwanted visitors.
