Carmine Vespucci's father, a mobster, orders him to kill his brother-in-law Gaetano on his deathbed. Gaetano flees to The Ritz, a gay bathhouse, where he is pursued by a "chubby chaser" and an entertainer who thinks he's a Broadway producer. The Ritz's staff, including a gatekeeper, habitue, and go-go boys, help protect Gaetano from his pursuers, including a detective and his employer Carmine, as well as Gaetano's wife. Family secrets are revealed as the story unfolds.
