A wealthy Sicilian patriarch, Fefè Mottola, seeks the help of a beautiful teacher, Giovanna, to tutor his son Franco. Franco is immediately smitten with Giovanna, but to avoid temptation, he pretends to be gay. However, his father's unexpected advances soon threaten to expose Franco's deception.
