A young man named Stéphane, who is Mexican on his father's side and French on his mother's side, moves back to France from Mexico after his father's death. He agrees to live in his mother's apartment and takes a job at a calendar shop using his graphic art skills. However, the job turns out to be unfulfilling and Stéphane forms a friendship with his coworkers, especially Guy, a bully who obsesses about sex. Stéphane also becomes close with his neighbors, Stéphanie and Zoé, despite some initial mistruths. As Stéphane develops feelings for Zoé, he believes Stéphanie is interested in him too, and their bond grows stronger.
