The competitive sport of speed cubing has grown into a worldwide phenomenon, with Feliks Zemdegs reigning as the king of cubers for nearly a decade. However, his dominance was challenged by Max Park, an unknown cuber from California who took home the Gold medal in 2017. Despite their competitive relationship, Feliks and Max have developed a tender yet complicated friendship, with Max's family using speed cubing as therapy for his autism. As they approach another World Championship, they are driven to win, but also root for each other's success.
