Five friends, Mason, Aidan, Maddie, Melinda, and Luke, are stuck in summer school and daydream about alternative activities. However, their boredom ends when a stray puppy, Chewy, wanders into their school. To keep Chewy hidden from the principal, Ms. Thistle, the friends must work together to hide the pup and clean up after its messes. They use creative hiding spots and even enlist school staff to keep Chewy's presence a secret, but their game of hide-and-seek can't last forever.
